About Clint Williams

Contemporary composer Clint Williams is a dual-national (USA and Trinidad & Tobago) specializing in chamber works; His favorite chamber works to compose are symphonic works that tell stories without words. Clint earned his Master's in Music Composition from Oklahoma City University in 2020, where he studied with Dr. Edward Knight. Mr. Williams also studied with Dr. Gregory Hoepfner at Cameron University in Lawton, OK, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in 2016.

Clint has collaborated with various performing artists all over Oklahoma and currently serves as Composer-in-Residence for the Oklahoma Chamber Symphony. His most noteworthy work to date, Greenwood, Archer & Pine, received Finalist Honorable Mention in the Professional Orchestra division of the 2023 American Prize in Music Composition. Clint has also been named the 2025 Oklahoma Music Teachers Association Commissioned Composer.

 

In addition to his residency, Clint is an Adjunct Professor of Music Composition and Orchestration at Oklahoma City University and teaches music composition at El Sistema OKC. He also serves as Music Director at St. Stephens Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City.

 

Clint has previously worked with the Enid Symphony, Oklahoma Youth Orchestra, Windsong Chamber Chorus, Lawton Pro Musica, Southwest Oklahoma Opera Guild, Oklahoma City University School of Theatre, and the Ann Lacey School of American Dance & Entertainment.
